What does each stage of Number Skills cover?
Starter
Introduces children to the foundations of number sense. Focusing on numbers up to 5, this stage focuses on core basics such as counting, addition, and subtraction.
Confident
For children ready to move on to numbers up to 10, this stage adds concepts such as recognising number patterns and number bonds crucial to being able to confidently add and subtract.
Experienced
For children working on numbers up to 100, this moves onto more advanced concepts such as place value needed for bigger numbers. It also includes the use of number lines, the foundations of multiplication and much more!
